GAME SKILLS Competitive Gaming Course and Challenge!
So you think your good or maybe even the best? Then come and prove yourself in the GAME SKILLS Competitive Gaming Course and Challenge! What is it you ask. It is a three week Competitive Gaming class with an exhibition tournament as the Grand finale. During the month of February we will meet on the 1st, 7th, 15th, and finally the 22nd.
The course will take eight random people and teach and train them on how to be effective as a team in a competitive gaming environment. The game that we'll be playing will be HALO 4 with a focus on Infinity Slayer multi-player matches. The sessions will be held at the Microsoft Store in Lenox Mall and will take place for 5pm to 8pm. There are only 8 spots available and each person must register before January 28th.

The Exhibition Tournament
Teams will have to register for the exhibition tournament. This tournament will serve as a test for the people who have taken the course. The course team, referred to as GAME SKILLS Team A and B, will serve as the home team. Any team who registers to compete will be the guest team. The Home team will have a permanent seat (meaning that they will keep playing whether they win or lose and only be changed out according to coaches direction. Think starting players and the bench). Each match results will be tallied and recorded as well as live streamed to the internet. Teams are encouraged to participate and although there will not be a definitive grand prize, your teams performance and play results will be immortalized on the web. There will be some great door prizes raffled off to subscribers to the GAME SKILLS youtube page during the exhibition tournament so don't miss this opportunity.
GUEST TEAMS CAN REGISTER AS INDIVIDUALS FOR $10.00
(In other words each member can pay separately)

Rules and Guidelines for the Tournament
The rules and guidelines are similar to our last GAME SKILLS event and can be viewed by clicking on the link below. ** Note** Instead of the best 3 out of 5 Matches for a tournament winner to be declared, each guest team will play one match against the home team. The match winner will be the team who wins the best 2 out of 3 rounds in a match. ALSO NOTE THE GUEST TEAM HAS MAP CHOICE! In order to really prove which team has the greater skill, all the guest teams will have map choice in their matches.
So are you really up for the challenge?

ReplyDeleteWhoa! Some serious action went down over the weekend. I attended the Atlgamers Halo 4 2v2 Tournament and got some amazing revelation (not to mention I got my world rocked during my matches). Come and find out exactly what I've learn and how it's totally changed my game (for the better). Don't miss the last session before the Exhibition Tournament on the 22nd.
